Travelling with Your Friends in Greece

Posted in Info

A summer holiday with your friends can be a source of beautiful memories or an expensive deathmarch of awkwardness and acrimony. Greece is an extremely beautiful country full of wonderful islands, magnificent mainland and countless kilometres of amazing beaches. Greece is the ideal destination to travel together with your best friends as offers many choices for accommodation, entertainment and whatever may you need. However, the most important is that thanks to the plenty of choices, you are able to set a budget according to your company’s abilities! Interested in putting together a group of friends and travelling to the Greek islands? You can organize private sailing trips, a winery visit, or simply quality beach and great nightlife will certainly make your Greece trip a once in a lifetime experience for you and your friends. Also, when you travel as a group of friends you can enjoy the discounts which are offered by many transport companies, hotels or travel agencies. For example, you can get tickets for travelling by ship to one of the stunning Greek islands with a 20% discount if you purchase more than 4!

Where to stay

If you decide to travel as a group, you can save some money booking a holiday apartment or villa. There is a great variety of facilities to choose the most suitable for your needs. There are apartments and villas for 4, 6, 8 and more people…! These homes are fully-equipped, with 2 or 3 bedrooms, kitchen, 2 or more bathrooms and the most luxury of them offer a private swimming pool and other special comforts. On the other hand, if you choose a hotel for your staying you can get a significant discount if you book it earlier and if you book it for more than 4 persons.

Choose the best destination

As Greece is full of beautiful places, we suggest you four of the ideal destinations for holidays with friends!

Mykonos: the best for parties

Mykonos is cosmopolitan and full of young people island. You can find some of the most amazing beaches combined with all day beach parties. Its narrow streets between the white cubist houses are full of people, from a distance all young, all beautiful, all impossibly fashionable. If you and your friends want to live exciting moments this is the ideal place.

Ios: the island of youth

Ios is a paradise for the young people from all over the world who prefer to sleep the half day eager to stay up all night in the bars and clubs on the island. Already in the 70s Ios had established itself as the island especially for youth from all over Europe. Ios is full of bars and clubs, and the rhythm is high during the night. Most of the night clubs are in Chora but also are organized many beach parties. Due to the young audience, you will soon realize that most bars are with loud music and drinking contests with shots and cocktails.

Rhodes: a classic choice

Rhodes is one of the most popular destinations in Greece and this is why it is stormed every summer by thousands of tourists. Rhodes is famous for its nightlife, a fact that attracts a lot of young people. The much famous Faliraki is the place where thousands of young Europeans come to blow off steam, but fortunately the size of the island also allows for quiet vacations.

Athens: the absolute queen

The Athenian culture is worldwide famous and recognized but also the Greek capital is more famous than any other European capital, for its unique nightlife. Athens by night totally can excite you. The options for entertainment satisfy all the tastes, styles and budgets. The famous “bouzoukia” with the live Greek music are the leaders in the Athenian entertainment. While the numerous theatres all around Athens offer a different type of entertainment. Athens is an extremely impressive and beautiful city. Just let it enchant you!

Travelling in Greece with your friends and your motors

The summer is combined with the daily use of the motorcycle, and is the best season for a trip in Greece, with your friends. Whatever is your destination the everyday contact with your motorcycle and your friends will make the trip unforgettable. We suggest you to overnight in small villages, where accommodation costs are about 40 euros for a double room with breakfast, and you can easily get to know the local people and their culture. Never lean a hotel in advance because you bound your time and make your trip stressful and dangerous. Great destinations, high quality roads, exotic landscapes and superb nightlife are some of the reasons to think of visiting Greece!
